The event slated for June 12 at the Korean Cultural Centre Abuja will feature readings by poets Ahmed Maiwada and a keynote address by Prof. Chimalum Nwankwo, as well as tributes by the deceased’s children and other writers.
Prof. Acholonu authored 18 books among them The Trail of the Beautiful Ones, The Igbo Roots of Olauda Equiano, Springs Last Drops.  The Earth Unchained, Motherism: The Afrocentric Alternative to Feminism, They Lived Before Adam.
The event which will start at 3:30 pm will also feature poetry performance.
