A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives (APC) and former chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Yahaya Musa Muhammad, has purchased the party’s nomination/expression of interest forms to contest the Abuja South House of representatives seat in 2027 general elections.

Muhammad, who is the Chancellor of the Leadership University, Kuje Abuja, said his decision to join the race was driven by a strong commitment to delivering quality representation and repositioning Abuja South and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at large.

He said his aspiration was rooted in the urgent need to address the persistent challenges facing the people, particularly issues of marginalisation and limited political opportunities through clear vision for legislative impact.

He said he was particularly passionate about strengthening democratic dividends and ensuring that governance reaches the electorates at the grassroots effectively.
