The former Grand Khadi of the FCT Shari’a Court, Justice Musa Song, has advised Muslims to always do good by supporting the needy and the less privileged in society with sincerity, strictly for the sake of Allah.

Justice Song gave the advice on Saturday, during the handing over of a mosque to the Gwagwalada Islamic Centre. 

The project was built by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (Nigeria Office) and sponsored by Binta Ibn Mohammed from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Abuja Metro reports that the project handed over to the centre comprised a mosque, the Imam’s residence, blocks of classrooms, and toilet facilities.

Justice Song offered prayers for those behind the gesture and reminded Muslims that an equal reward awaits anyone who does good for the sake of Allah, regardless of gender.

Receiving the project on behalf of the Centre, Engineer Alhaji Mohammed Saba, a retired Director of Engineering with Radio Nigeria and Chairman of the Gwagwalada Islamic Centre, expressed appreciation for the development and pledged proper maintenance of the facilities.

Also speaking, Alhaji Mohammed Saba, representing the Gwagwalada Area Council Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, alongside the project coordinator Mallam Abdullahi Abbas Askira and Hajiya Halima Sa’idu, who facilitated the project, all commended the donor for the intervention.

Among prominent figures that graced the handing over ceremony were the former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State and ex-Federal Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Sabo Kyana, political figures, and several Islamic scholars.
