The Funeral Planning Committee for the late Mrs. Grace Adayilo, former Head of Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has announced the details of her burial arrangements.

Archbishop Jonathan Maji Jo, head of the planning committee, who spoke on behalf of the family, said a service of songs will be held on Friday at 4 pm at LEA Primary School, Galadima, Gwarinpa, Abuja.

According to him, the funeral service will take place on Saturday at 9 am at the National Christian (Ecumenical) Centre, Abuja. Her body will be laid to rest thereafter.

Archbishop Jo called on FCT residents to come together to honor her legacy and pay their last respects to a dedicated public servant. 

He also extended gratitude to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Administration, traditional leaders, and all residents for their support during this difficult time.

Favour Adayilo, the daughter of the deceased, said her mother left a significant legacy and expressed hope that the family would continue with her impactful work. “My mother was a mother to everyone. She served people irrespective of their personalities. I can see that in the caliber of people who visited us,” she said.
