As the 14th edition of the Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation (DOAMF) Charity Golf Tournament approaches, organizers have confirmed strong support from notable corporate sponsors and philanthropic individuals.
Renowned for its high standards and exceptional tournament-day experience, the prestigious event is set to take place on March 8, 2025, at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Lagos.
In a statement, the DOAM Foundation announced a lineup of corporate sponsors backing the charity event, including ARM Holdings Company, AccessARM Pension Managers, Globus Bank, Cappa & D’Alberto, Radial Circle Group, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Arravo, Vacation Places, Hilltop Insurance, Zenith Bank, MetroEye Clinic, Pulsetv, Glow HealthNg, Ultima Studio, Cowry Asset Management, and Ikoyi Club 1938. More organizations are expected to confirm their commitment in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, over 100 players have secured their spots in the final round following the qualifiers held on February 8, 2025. They will be joined by guest players for the grand finale.
DOAM Foundation’s Media Liaison Officer, Bukunmi Osunsina, emphasized that the generous contributions from sponsors and individuals will help the Foundation continue its mission of providing education and healthcare to underprivileged children and youth.
Since its inception, the Foundation has positively impacted over 95,000 lives through its various life-enhancement programs. Funds raised from the annual charity golf event have been instrumental in supporting these initiatives.
The tournament will conclude with an evening cocktail event, featuring a prize presentation ceremony for winners and an opportunity for partners and donors to engage and celebrate their shared commitment to philanthropy.
