Was Kaita there when we fumbled during the qualification series and main tournament of the African Nations Cup championship? Very soon we may never qualify for African Nations Cup again, talkless of the World Cup Tournament, thanks to the rot in our society.

Our nation is sinking deeper than ever, before our very eyes. You can see the rot, you can feel it, you can smell it, and you can even touch it. Nations, nation-states and other continents have left us behind. Countries that we started the journey of nationhood with have gone ahead to excel in one area or the other. South Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, of course, China. What about Pakistan (at least, they have nuclear war head today, courtesy of their Prof. Khan).

It is time the new generation of our country stop judging things along any sentiments, whether tribal or religion. For this is one of the pit or grave that our colonial overlords dug for our country, so that we can never rise up or see things from the same perspective. As they say, a “house divided against itself cannot stand”.

Much more than this, I personally think that enough of this Jaw, Jaw. I think it is time we must Walk the Walk. It is time we must rescue our country from this “Inglorious Bastards” that has ruined and ruining our country. Now is the time, otherwise we might as well forget about a nation called Nigeria in just a few years to come.
