Professor Omowunmi Iledare, an expert in Petroleum Economics, has emphasized the need for a transformational leader to revolutionize Nigeria’s power sector.

Speaking at the 2nd annual lecture series of Dr. Diran Fawibe in Ibadan, Professor Iledare stressed that energy is critical for sustainable prosperity and requires a transformational mindset to address the challenges in the sector.

He highlighted the importance of technology, economics, and public policy in the energy landscape and noted that Nigeria’s public policy perception is low, requiring improvement through good governance, transparency, and accountability.
