Ambassador (Dr.) Alan Peter Adeboye has emerged as a prominent Nigerian voice in youth empowerment and human capital development, earning national recognition for his contributions to leadership training and humanitarian advocacy.
Adeboye, a Nigerian executive leader and youth development expert, has over five years of professional experience in human capital development, business consulting and human resources management. His work spans both public and private sector engagements, where he is known for strategic planning, operational efficiency and results-driven leadership.
He studied Business Administration at the University of Ilorin and later received a Fellowship Doctorate in Strategic Business Management from the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana, in recognition of his professional impact. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Professionally, Adeboye has been involved in high-impact projects with organisations including the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Alphatech Hub Integrated Services and BGR Consulting Ltd. His areas of expertise include recruitment and talent acquisition, employee training, leadership coaching, organisational restructuring and performance management.
Beyond corporate practice, Adeboye is widely recognised for his involvement in youth development initiatives. He has trained and mentored Nigerian youths and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members through structured capacity-building and leadership programmes aimed at improving employability, ethical standards and workforce readiness.
His efforts in youth training earned him a National Award for Impact in Youth Training and Development at the National Humanitarian Summit held on 8 May 2025 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja. The summit was organised by Fumilayo Health Foundation Africa under the theme, *“Strengthening Humanitarian Efforts for a Resilient Nation.”*
Adeboye currently serves as the Special Envoy on Youth Affairs at the International Forum for Peace and Diplomacy (IFPD), where he promotes youth inclusion in diplomacy, peacebuilding and sustainable development in collaboration with government, civil society and international stakeholders.
He continues to advance initiatives focused on developing skilled, ethical and future-ready young leaders, with human capital positioned as a central pillar of national development.
