A lecturer from the Department of Computer Science, Mal. Wali Ibrahim said that Cloud Computing is a networking model that connects various configurable computing resources for the purpose of effective service delivery, management and interaction.
He said the benefits of Cloud Computing are remarkable and numerous which include  speed, scalability, security, reliability, e-test, e-library, e-result checking, resource sharing, reducing cost of communication within the school premises and staff application.
“Cloud computing is enriching and will widen the horizon of human knowledge, empower human capital for sustainable scientific development as well as educational development of the nation,” he said.
Wali noted that the school management has not taken tangible advancement for the actualisation of the concept.
He said several institutions such as Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State, National Open University of Nigeria, and Covenant University have adopted the concept.
However, the Head of Department promised to make effort for the realisation of the concept of Cloud Computing as proposed for the department.
