Entrepreneurs have advised students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, to engage in entrepreneurship before they graduate.

Robert Onyebuchi Anwatu, Chairman of Roban Stores Nigeria, and Chief Rick Chidolue, owner of Chelsea Hotel, Abuja, gave the advice at the 9th Chike Okoli Centudies lecture series on ‘From Rags to Riches’ held at the university.

They admonished students to venture into business either as students or after graduation because entrepreneurship holds the key to survival in the nation’s uncertain economic climate.

Speaking on the topic, ‘Making Your Passion Your Paycheck’, Anwatu, an estate developer, said to succeed as an entrepreneur, one must think critically and plan effectively.

According to him, entrepreneurship holds the key to any meaningful development in the country, as white collar jobs are no longer fashionable.
