Namibia safari overview
The main attraction of a horse safari to Namibia is the joy of riding good horses over superb country, with just about every landscape dotted with game. A horse safari is a unique experience for those who would combine the pleasures of long distance riding with a love for the wild and the thrill of an African safari.
The riding is varied, sometimes quietly walking, stalking big game and admiring the bird life, sometimes cantering through the water-meadows alongside galloping giraffe and lechwe.
Desert homestead – Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft mountain region. Meandering across endless plains or discovering ancient water courses on a beautifully groomed steed with an armchair-like trail saddle is a magical and alternative way to appreciate the surroundings. Sun rise and Sun set rides are most popular way to enjoy the area.

Namibia flying safari overview
Skeleton Coast safaris are operated by the Schoeman family of Namibia and have been going since 1977. One of four of the Schoeman brothers will host you on this exclusive safari into remotest Namibia. He will be your guide, your pilot, your driver and your captain on the Kunene River and their knowledge of the area is unparraled having grown up in this desolate but fascinating area.
The safaris aim to create an introduction to the scenic and ecological aspects of the environment of the Skeleton Coast Park, Namib-Naukluft Park, western Damaraland and western Kaokoland and other undeveloped and remote wilderness areas of Namibia. The key features of the safaris are the use of the aircraft as a safari vehicle. The flights aim to achieve a completely different level of safari experience and provide an outstanding bird’s-eye view of some of the wonders of this region of Namibia. Including the diverse and ever-changing geological rock formations and the refuges of desert-dwelling animals such as the endangered black rhino and desert-adapted elephant.
Accommodation is in three privately owned camps. All of the camps are comfortable and well equipped and each is positioned in a carefully selected location to allow the best views of the areas unique beauty. The tents all have en suite bucket showers.
