The chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, has urged residents of the council to ensure they exposed criminals in their midst.

Ajiya, who was speaking when he paid a Sallah homage to the Ona of Abaji at his palace, yesterday, also called on residents to cooperate with security agencies by giving them useful information that would lead to the arrest of suspected criminals in the area.

He said protection of lives and property of residents of the area was one of the cardinal points of his administration.

Also speaking, the Ona of Abaji, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, called on parents to ensure they enrolled their children in school so that they become useful to themselves and the society.

He stressed the need for residents to live in peace with, as no society would develop without unity and peace among the people.
