To say nothing of the graveyards in Maiduguri and Damaturu and environs that are filled; even in the government hospitals, corpses are left on the floor since the morgues are also overflowing, forget about the multiple atrocities and gross violation of human rights that are committed on daily basis in this unending combat!
What comes to mind is that the stakeholders in affected states should look for a better way out, because the current situation is ugly, even worse than the terrible days of the civil war. We can only pray, but they can act. Certainly serious counsel and effective action is needed to salvage the situation before the whole of Borno turns to a quagmire.
