The Ogwashi-Ukwu police station in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State has become notorious for extorting money from suspects in the name of bail.

Residents of the community have complained severally about this extortion at the police station, but nothing has changed. What baffles us the most is that the Nigeria Bar Association, Aniocha South chapter, is silent about such illegal activities at the station.

We call on the Inspector-General of Police to save our souls in Aniocha South.
