Facilities management professionals, engineers, architects and key stakeholders in the built environment are set to converge in Lagos for the 2025 conference of the Association of Facilities Management Practitioners Nigeria (AFMPN).

According to a statement released by the association, the much-anticipated event will take place from the 24th to 25th of September, 2025, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos.

Themed “Future-Proofing Facilities: Harnessing Technology for Smart Cities and Workspaces,” the conference is expected to set the tone for the future of facilities management in Nigeria.

The association said the AFMPN’s 2025 conference aims to serve as a knowledge-sharing hub, equipping professionals with tools to adapt to emerging trends and innovations.

The AFMPN believed that by integrating these innovations, facilities managers can play a central role in shaping Nigeria’s urban future.

According to the body, the flagship event promises to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and practitioners to discuss the latest trends and innovations in facilities management.

Panel discussions will further enhance the depth of the conference, offering attendees the opportunity to engage in robust conversations around industry challenges and solutions.

The association emphasized that participation is open to all stakeholders involved in the design, operation, and maintenance of buildings and urban infrastructure.
