Speaking during the induction, the institute`s registrar Mr. Omachi Jonah tasked the new inductees to be good ambassadors and imbibe the ethics and code of conduct of the profession.
He charged them to continue to be updated as professional facilities managers, saying they should be a change agent in the built environment by participating in various environmental activities and come up with ideas on how the built environment can be improved.
Facilities managers aim to remove infrastructure decay and establish best practices in the area of infrastructure management for better services delivery in Nigeria and comprises mainly engineers.
