As part of its moves to tackle cultism and other vices in the society, the Okachi Charity Foundation (OCF) has partnered with the Nigeria Police Force.

The foundation flagged off its Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) during the 2025 Children’s Day Celebration.

The event, which took place on the 31st of May, at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, attracted different stakeholders.

Commenting on the event which served as OCF’s first anniversary, Faith Morey, the founder, said they decided to take a bold step towards youth empowerment and advocacy against societal vices.

“The programme served as an avenue to celebrate, educate, and inspire young children while reinforcing the dangers of cultism, drug abuse, and other negative influences that jeopardize their future.”

“This partnership is a strong statement of collaboration between civic organizations and law enforcement in fostering safer communities and nurturing a generation of responsible leaders.”

As part of the activities, the Okachi Charity Foundation donated 200 art canvases to children to encourage creativity and self-expression through an art competition.

The initiative not only nurtures their talents but also provides a positive outlet for their energy and imagination.
