A Magistrate Court No. 24 in Kano has remanded two men, including a suspected fake police constabulary officer, for allegedly terrorising residents of Ja’en Quarters in Gwale Local Government Area.
The police arraigned the suspects, Umar Tijjani of Unguwar Bello, Dorayi Karama, and Usman Isa, popularly known as Bawan Allah.
Usman Isa is accused of impersonating a police constabulary officer.
The prosecuting counsel, Barrister Muhammad Bello, charged them with criminal conspiracy, trespass, theft and destruction of property.
Both defendants pleaded guilty to all charges.
Magistrate Mustapha Abba Dandago ordered their remand at a correctional facility and reserved ruling on the case until August 29, 2025.
