Ahead of the draws, a confident Falcons coach Edwin Okon had said his team are prepared to face any team in the Mundial, adding that he believes in the strength of the Nigeria team after what he saw during the African Women Championship in Namibia where the girls emerged victorious.
““Don’t forget we are African champions and we hope to show the whole world the stuff we are made of as champions. We hope for a favourable draw but we are not afraid to meet any team,” Okon said hours before the draws were announced. The tournament will hold in Canada between  5 June and 6 July 2015
