Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana aka Falz, has been unveiled by the Black Entertainment Television (BET) as one of the nominees for the Best New International Act category.
The 26-year old lawyer turned rapper was nominated alongside international acts like South Africa’s Emtee, Australia’s Tkay Maida, MHD from France, WSTRN and Section Boys from the United Kingdom.
The Award is scheduled to hold on June 29th, 2016 in Califonia, Los Angeles, USA, along with the ‘BET Experience L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles’ event which will precede it.
The award which has previously been won by 2Baba, Dbanj and Wizkid is a worthy recognition for the ‘Soldier’ hitmaker who has had a really good year as he also won the AMAA awards for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele’s ‘Jenifa’s Diaries.’
