A farmer in Kura LGA of Kano State has “arrested” and handed over a rabbit to the vigilante group in the area.

Musa Garba had reported the rabbit to vigilante office of the Kura command for trespassing into his farmland and devouring his seedlings.

Garba, of Dorawarar Sallau village, said he had been battling with the rabbit, which often disturbed his farm which forced him to arrest it with the help of some boys and handed it over to the vigilante office.

On his part, the owner of the rabbit, said he had been facing challenges with it and that it’s been long that he saw the rabbit.

He said the rabbit also led him to having series of problems with other farmers in their village.

Spokesman of the vigilantes in Kura, Uba Muhammad, said they had settled the farmer and owner of the rabbit on an agreement that it would be sold out at the Kura Market.
