Nasarawa State Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has assured National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to the state of security.
Al-Makura said during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2018 Batch A Corp members at the Dan Yamusa Orientation camp yesterday in Keffi, that against recent clashes between farmers and suspected herders, adequate efforts had been made to protect lives.
Al-Makura, represented by Engineer Muhammed Wada, Commissioner of Works, Transport and Housing, urged the corps members to enjoy the hospitality of their host communities.
Speaking at the event, the state NYSC Coordinator, Hajiya Zainab Isah, said 2175 corps members were duly registered for the 2018 Batch A exercise.
