Farmers in Bayelsa State have lamented the alleged destruction of their farmlands by cattle.
They called on the state government to ensure that the anti-open grazing is totally enforced to guide against conflicts.

Farmers along Tombia-Amassoma Road axis in Okutukutu Community of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, while counting their losses said the invasion of their farmlands by herders was affecting their incomes.
An elderly woman, Mrs Patience Obein, wondered how she would survive the loss of her cassava farm to cows.
Other farmers, among them, Mrs Martha John Perry, Mr Bernard England, Mr George Bouye and Mrs Success Bouye, also expressed disgust at the activities of herders.
They urged the state government to forestall an impending conflict between the farmers and the herders.
