Dress has a unique way of distinguishing us amongst others. You can easily tell of a doctor, nurse, mechanic, clergyman, call girl etc. through the kind of dress such personality puts on.

It is quite unfortunate to note that we no longer know if it is fashion or nudity? When you see a young lady, so nicely dressed with the right combination of colours, you begin to wonder if heaven is not missing one of its angels.

But when you look around in our world today, especially in higher institutions, what do we see?  These pretty angels grow up and then lose their innocence simply because they want to flow with the new trend of fashion.  It is often said that if a girl is given two handkerchiefs, she will make a cloth out of it.  How shameful.

Nudity is now the order of the day in our society.  Where are our culture and decency of the good old days?  Ladies are now putting on cloths that are more or less rags in the name of fashion as excuse for their indecency.  They expose their “every every” from their shoulders to their cleavages, down their stomachs to their thighs and in extreme cases, their under wears.

How sad it is to note that even some “never ageing” mothers are not left out in this shameful act.  If our mothers can dress half-nude, just think of the shabby clothes their wards or children would be putting on.  Giving the public a free show we didn’t ask for, ranging from the colours of their bra through transparent tops to the colours, design, shape and size of their pants through bomb-shakers and miniskirts.

What most girls do not understand is that letting the cat out make them look cheap, worthless and aimless than the smart pretty damsels they think.  It can also earn them disrespect and loss of reputation, thereby very vulnerable to all kinds of insults from male folks and their female colleagues.

Being indecent only reduces the task of men finding out what is inside and it devalues your worth.  But being decent does not suppress your beauty at all.  When you let the contrary be the case, it will tarnish your image thereby scaring prospective suitors from you.  Little wonder such girls never get to be the bride themselves, but keep playing the chief brides’ maid to their friends.

When you are decently and fashionably dressed, you would get everything you desire at ease, earn your respect, give a deeper unseen beauty and make men itch and sweat to see what is inside rather than letting it all out for no charge.

Be fashionable, be decent and give yourself, the women folk, and your family, some respect. Be proud of whom you are as a lady and stop bringing down your worth to the lowest levels in the name of fashion.  Dress the way you will like to be addressed.
