At a press briefing in Lagos, Samson Adamu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kinetic Sports, the organiser of the annual Copa tournament, said the annual event is more than a sport activities but a general lifestyle.
“More than a sports event, Copa Lagos is a lifestyle. The competition’s venue will be the centre of attention in Lagos during event dates. Beach soccer fans will be offered a varied range of activities, fashion shows and music concerts, which will bring rhythm and passion to one of the most populous cities in Africa,” Adamu said.
The Organiser said the attention being given to soccer, music and fashion stems from the fact that the three go hand-in-hand as entertainment instruments.
 “The three are geared towards giving the public opportunity and a blend of sensational fun at the beach,” he said.
According to Adamu, since the launch of Copa Lagos three years ago, the three-day event has been increasing tremendously and it is on that basis they have decided to raise it a notch higher this year..
