Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, was on Thursday inaugurated with a promise to appoint a Special Adviser on ‘stomach infrastructure.’
The governor, who was speaking at his inauguration ceremony held in Ado-Ekiti monitored on Channels Television, made the promise in response to critics of his distribution of rice as campaign instrument in the run up to the governorship election.
Critics on social media had tagged his use of rice in the campaign as ‘stomach infrastrucure.’
The governor also directed the head of service to return all civil servernts to their positions before June 21 when the former governor began making changes in the state civil service.
He said his government will focus on empowerment, infrastructural development, Education and science and techology, among others.
