Provost of the college, Dr. Mouktar Ibrahim Maccido, urged the deans to discharge their duties diligently in order to move the college to greater height.
He further emphasized the need for harmony among the deans, lecturers and students.
In his remark, the chairman of the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), Comrade Yahuza Salmanu, commended the electoral committee for the smooth conduct of the election.
He reiterated the need for academic staff to judiciously utilize the Tetfund intervention grant meant for conferences and researches.
Speaking on behalf of the elected deans, the Dean School of Languages, Mallam Sulaiman Balarabe, said they will stick to the stipulated rules of the college while discharging their duties to the best of their abilities.
He promised to give priority to ICT, adding that all staff of his school will get a set of Laptop computer to facilitate e-system programme in the school.
