First City Monument Bank, FCMB Pension Administrator, won the second edition of Pension fund administrators, PFA Games in Abuja.

FCMB Pension who are making their debut in the PFA Games put up an impressive display  in all the seven sports participated in, which include, 7-aside football, Volleyball, Table tennis, snooker, scrabble, chess and team bonding.

‘Subomi Balogun’ team won the 7- aside football event where they defeated Tangerine APT Pension 2-0 in the final.

The team also won the volleyball event and scrabble while putting up an impressive display in table tennis and chess where they finished third in both sports.

In the overall medal table, Norrenberger Pension finished second while Trust Fund Pension emerged third.

Meanwhile, Premium Pension who emerged winners in the maiden edition dropped down to fourth while Tangerine APT Pension and Nupemco finished fifth and sixth respectively.

Speaking after the finals, organiser of the event, Mr Mohammed Kamal-Deen saluted all the management and all the teams that participated in the games for excellent display during and after the games.

“And as you can see, the aim of the tournament is to bring the pension industry together to interact, share ideas and have fun and enjoy themselves. I can boldly say that that has been achieved.”

The Games kicked off on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Turf Arena Sports Centre, in Abuja and climaxed over the weekend.
