The FCT chapter of the Advanced Congress Democrat (ACD), has held its primary to elect chairmanship candidates for the area councils’ election slated for March, 2019.

Chairman of ACD in the FCT, Shehu Alkali, while speaking at the party’s primary which took place in Gwagwalada, said the party was not satisfied with the performance of other political parties, especially at the area councils’ level.

He said it was on that premise that the party conducted its primary to elect competent people that would pilot the affairs of all the six area councils to deliver good governance to the people at the grassroots.

Also speaking, the Gwagwalada chapter chairman of the ACD, Yakubu Mohammed Jibo, assured residents that if the party emerged victorious in 2019, it will focus on infrastructural development across the area councils.
