A cross-section of Bwari residents in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT have appealed to the police to intensify efforts in curbing household robbery attacks, especially at night.

The residents urged the police to focus on areas notorious for such incidents, including Sabon-Geri, Quarters Extension and Tundu Fulani.

Mrs. Joyce Emmanuel, a resident of the Old Viva area of Sabon-Geri, reported a midnight incident where a car was stolen from a compound. She stated that the owner was asleep at home when robbers entered and drove the car away through the gate.

Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim of Tundu Fulani also recounted how armed men broke into his house at night, stealing items including television sets.

He pleaded with the police to beef up security in the affected areas to protect residents.
