The Chief of Pai chiefdom in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abubakar Sani Pai, has set up a committee with the responsibility of tackling farmers and herders clashes in the chiefdom.

Alhaji Pai stated this when he received village chiefs, district heads, traditional title holders as well as Ardos, who paid him a Sallah homage in his palace on Saturday.

He said the committee was to ensure peaceful coexistence among the farmers and herders in the area.

The chief stressed the need for peaceful resolution of issues between the two groups.
