The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA), Alhaji Adam Mouktar Muhammed, has praised the players, coaches, and management of Abuja’s female football club, Naija Ratels, for their impressive semi-final victory over Remo Stars Ladies and for advancing to the finals of the 2024 President Federation Cup.
“I want to say congratulations to you all on this great feat. You are all heroines. Your performance is a testament to your determination and never give up spirit. I have the belief you can win the tournament. It is in you”.

Naija Ratels made it to the finals after triumphing over Remo Stars Ladies in a thrilling 7-6 penalty shootout at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu after the match had ended 2-2 in regulation time.
Naija Ratels will face Rivers Angels who defeated Delta Queens 2-1 in the other semi-final Awka in the grand final. The 2024 women’s President Federation Cup final will take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on June 29 at 1 pm.
