Excitement is building as the highly anticipated grand finale of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) league division one and division two is set to take place today, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Area 3 Football Pitch in Abuja.

After several weeks of rigorous competition, classification matches, and intense qualifiers, the stage is now set for the top teams to battle for championship glory. The event will be graced by the Director of Sports FCT, Luka Istifanus, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.

Under the leadership of FCT FA Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, the league has grown into a vibrant showcase of talent, resilience, and sportsmanship. Teams from across the FCT and surrounding areas have participated, drawing large crowds and creating a vibrant atmosphere around grassroots football.

In a statement ahead of the finals, Alhaji Mohammed expressed his pride in the teams’ performance.

“We are proud of the incredible effort and excellence shown by all participants. The final promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent. We urge residents to come support and cheer the teams and also have a feel of the display of football artistry.”

The division two final will feature FHA FC against One Touch FC, kicking off at 1:00 PM, while the Division One final follows at 3:00 PM, with Sporting Dream FC facing Golden Boys FC.

Winners will take home ₦200,000 for Division Two and ₦300,000 for Division One, in what promises to be a festival of passion, skill, and community celebration.
