During a visit to the Abuja School for the Blind in Jabi, Ahmad noted that there was low rate of children with COVID-19, but that they could serve as carriers of the virus hence more needed to be done to protect them.
He said, “This sensitisation campaign is to educate the students on how they can stay safe with the virus still with us. We all know that education is important, but we also need to let the children know how they can take care of themselves and not be carriers in spreading it.”
