Suspected hoodlums have stabbed a man, Moses Ajere, to death and stolen his motorcycle on the Leleyi-Bassa village road in Kwali Area Council of the FCT.

A resident, Samson Kaura, said the incident happened on Monday around 6pm when the victim was on his way to Leleyi village.

He said, “Hoodlums followed the man all the way from Gwagwalada Area Council where he went to buy a new Bajaj motorcycle, blocked him, stabbed him to death and stole his the motorcycle.’’

He further said that his family members who called him at 7:33pm but realised his phone was not connecting, organised a search and found his corpse by the road.

The spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
