The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially opened registration for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.

According to the Board’s Director, Kadiri Edah, intending pilgrims must make a minimum deposit of N8,500,000 to secure their spot.

To register, applicants must use a bank draft from any commercial bank, payable to the “FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abuja.

According to him, the deadline for submission is December 2, 2025.

Edah emphasized that the bank draft and a valid international passport must be submitted to board officials at any of the six area councils in the FCT.

He also warned that only bank drafts will be accepted and that registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness.

For those who have funds with the Board from previous Hajj exercises, Edah stated, “Intending pilgrims who made deposits in previous hajj exercises and still have funds with the Board should declare their intention before the deadline to book a seat for 2026.”
