The minister of the FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has condemned the mob attack in Lugbe, a suburb of Abuja, which led to the death of one Ahmad Usman on Saturday.

The minister reiterated that no one had the right to take the law into his hands no matter the circumstances or level of provocation.

He said he would not tolerate any form of mob attack on any resident of the territory or the breakdown of law and order.

He called on the security agencies to ensure that all those who participated in the heinous act were apprehended and prosecuted.

The minister reminded residents that the FCT was founded on the premise of national unity, peace and love for the country, which he noted the action of the mob at Lugbe clearly negated.
