The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, has trained 50 of its personnel on proactive intelligence gathering sharing to enhance national security.
The personnel drawn from the intelligence department of the Zuba division are participating in a three-day intensive programme, organised by the FCT command of NSCDC in Abuja.
FCT Commandant of NSCDC, Dr Olusola Odumosu, said the training was to upscale the knowledge and skills of the personnel for prompt intelligence gathering and dissemination.
Odumosu, represented by the Deputy Commandant of corps, Bukar Hussaini, reiterated that training and retraining were imperative for creating a skilled and efficient workforce that would support the set goals of the corps.
