Selected plumbers in the FCT, including those of the FCT Water Board, have been sensitised on new pumping materials for quality service.

They were also trained on better ways to handle water distribution by using effective pumping materials.

The sensitisation meeting, which was organised by Purechem manufacturer which produced the new product, was to enable plumbers to be familiar with using it.

The Purechem Manufacturer Limited held the meeting at Sharon Hotel, Abuja.

The Acting General Manager of the FCT Water Board, Daniel Audu Saka, said the training came at a good time because the administration’s “Renewed Hope” slogan is to resurrect what had been done before for the betterment of the people.”

Me Arun Mulye, the general manager of Purechem Ltd, said the event was to let the customers know the value and quality of the product compared to what they were used to.

Plumbers at the event also used the occasion to assess the standard of the product and compare it with what is available in the market.

Mr. Indra Seth, the regional manager of the company assured that the product would always be available, avoidable and of great quality for the plumbers in the nation’s capital.
