FCT polio immunization commences today

The FCT Primary Health Care Development Board (FCTPHCDB) today commenced its polio immunization exercise expected to last until Tuesday.

Executive Secretary FCT Primary Health Care Development Board, FCT PHCDB, Dr Mathew Ashikeni, stated this at the flag-off of the January 2018 Sub National Immunisation Plus Days on Friday in Jiwa  District of the FCT.

He said polio vaccines have been procured for the over 900,000 targeted under-5 years’ population whereby special teams will be going from house-to-house to conduct the exercise.
