Mr. Olusola Odumosu, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, has applauded personnel for their professional conduct during the February 21 Area Council elections.

This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the command’s spokesperson, Monica Ojobi.

According to Ojobi, the Commandant addressed officers and men at the command’s headquarters, expressing appreciation for their efforts in ensuring the security of lives and property before, during, and after the exercise.

“Your early arrival at your duty posts and proper coordination, which culminated in a successful election, is highly commendable,” Odumosu said. (NAN)

He noted that the success of the electoral process in the FCT was directly linked to the determination, resilience, and commitment of the personnel.

“Our undercover agents performed credibly well. The early intelligence reports they provided made it possible for us to intervene timely and resolve perceived disagreements,” he stated.

“Your alertness was second to none, and I charge you to continue placing the interest of the Corps above all else,” he added. (NAN)
