FCT: Sarah Adidi concludes Bwari ward tour

Aspirant for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency seat in FCT, Hon. Sarah Ivie Adidi, has concluded her extensive Bwari ward tour after visiting ten wards across the Area Council in a single day to further strengthen grassroots engagement and consolidate support ahead of the elections.

The final phase of the tour saw her visit Ushafa, Bwari Central, Kuduru, Kubwa, Usuma, Byazhin, and finally her home ward, Dutse Alhaji, where supporters, party faithful, women groups, and youth leaders warmly received her.

Speaking during the visits, Hon. Adidi stated that the ward tour was not only an opportunity to seek support, but also a chance to directly interact with residents, understand their challenges, and identify immediate areas requiring intervention.

“This tour has allowed me to truly listen to the people and understand their realities firsthand. Leadership must begin with listening and, where possible, taking immediate action,” she said.

Demonstrating her commitment to grassroots development and party strengthening, Hon. Adidi announced that, following concerns raised during Thursday’s engagements, she had already paid for the repair and repainting of the APC office roof in Shere Ward.

In Kuduru Ward, she also paid one year’s rent for the APC ward office, a gesture party members described as unprecedented and deeply appreciated.

Additionally, after youths in the Igu community appealed for support for their football tournament, Hon. Adidi immediately provided footballs to encourage youth participation and community engagement through sports.

Across all the wards visited, residents and party stakeholders expressed overwhelming support for her aspiration, commending her humility, accessibility, and willingness to meet people within their communities rather than summoning them elsewhere.

Many supporters noted that her grassroots approach and swift response to community needs have distinguished her campaign and strengthened confidence in her leadership capacity.

The successful conclusion of the Bwari ward tour marks another major milestone in Hon. Sarah Ivie Adidi’s growing grassroots movement across the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency.
