The principal, who made this known when the pupils and students of his school were at the Usuma Dam Water Treatment Plant for an excursion, said such trip should be encouraged in schools.
Also speaking, the leader of the excursion team, Mr. Brilliant Foma Osiobe, said excursion would help in producing a “whole child” in all spheres of life, which is the mandate of the school.
He said: “A whole child is an all-rounder that will know everything not just going to the tap to fetch water. But we want the child to know how that water is produced.”
