The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in partnership with the All Farmers’ Association of Nigeria (AFAN), FCT chapter, has announced its intention to grow the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Federal Capital Territory, particularly in the agricultural sector.
Speaking in a meeting with AFAN FCT chapter in Abuja Wednesday, the SMEDAN FCT Manager, Mrs. Mary Kolawole, outlined the agency’s initiatives to provide crucial assistance to MSMEs facing challenges such as obtaining funds, securing business space, and accessing quality training.
“MSMEs are significant contributors to the nation’s GDP, and it is vital for the sector to be developed… The federal government is committed to helping them overcome their challenges by ensuring access to funding, training, and essential support,” she said.

An official of AFAN in the FCT, Alhaji Yusuf Mohammad, said “The Association in its efforts to achieve its aims and objectives has strengthened and expanded its collaborative activities with SMEADAN.’’
