Men of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS), popularly known as Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), in collaboration with the police and other security agencies, on Thursday confiscated 47 vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, which violated traffic rules on major highways in the FCT.

DRTS’ Deputy Director, Route Services, Dele A. Yaro, said there was a level of compliance compared to the number of vehicles the agency impounded in the last three days.

On his part, the Head of DRTS task force team, Adamu Shehu Maiwada, said the impounded motorcycles would be crushed.
