FCTA condoles former perm sec’s family

The FCTA Permanent Secretary, Chinyeaka Ohaa, has expressed the condolences of the management and staff of the FCTA to the family of Ambassador (Dr) Abiodun Nathanial Olorunfemi over the death last week, of the former FCTA Permanent Secretary.

Ambassador Olorunfemi was the Permanent Secretary, FCTA, from 2011 to 2012 and upon his retirement, was appointed as Nigeria’s ambassador to Namibia.

A statement from the FCTA Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, said Ohaa said Ambassador Olorunfemi came to the FCTA with a very rich academic and professional experience spanning decades which he utilised effectively in the administration of the FCTA.

He further described him as a highly detribalised Nigerian, an affable diplomat and an efficient and resourceful bureaucrat who made far-reaching innovations and immeasurable development in the administration of the FCT.

Sir Ohaa stated that his death definitely was a blow which will be felt especially in the civil service and diplomatic communities as well as all those that knew him.

The FCT Permanent Secretary prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and fortitude for his family and friends to bear the loss of his passage.
