Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA)

The FCT Administration has called on pension fund administrators to ensure quality services are rendered to both serving and retired staff of the administration.

The director, the FCT Pension Department, Mr Rotimi Ajayi, made the appeal at a joint sensitization programme organised for pension desk officers, heads of administration and salary of various Secretariats, Departments and Agencies (SDAs) of the Federal Capital Territory.

City & Crime reports that the FCT Pension Department, in collaboration with FCMB, organised the session to enlightening members of staff on data recapturing, investment, guidelines, benefit administration, transfer window, statement delivery, additional voluntary contributions, programmed withdrawal/annuity, pension enhancement among others.

A statement by Lydia Fulani, the department’s head of information, quoted the director as saying the programme was aimed at ensuring that the present administration gives its best on the issue of retirement and safeguarding the staff and retirees from undue stress after meritorious years of service.
