The FCT Water Board has said there will be disruptions in water supply to some parts of the territory from today to January 12.

A public notice from the board made available to journalists in Abuja, said normal water supply to the affected areas would however be restored in the evening of Saturday, January 14.

It said the disruption was to enable emergency work at its Usuman Dam plant.

It said areas to be affected are Maitama, Asokoro, Garki 1 and 2, Kubwa 1 and 2 and Gwagwalada axis.

‘‘In view of this development, the general public is hereby advised to store water for the period of the maintenance to avoid any inconveniences,’’ the notice added.
