The John Obuh tutored Eagles will today battle France for a place in the semi-final of the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia.

Speaking to Feverpitch yesterday, the former Ajax of Holland winger said the team is playing fantastic football but it should not undermine the attacking prowess of the French national team.

Babangida urged the players to play as a team saying none should be allowed to seek personal glory.

“Any team that is remaining in the championship is certainly strong. This means Flying Eagles must respect their opponents. If they allow their past victories to deceive them, they may be disgraced.

“Obuh must encourage the boys to play as a unit. None of them should be allowed to go in search of personal honour. It will come at the right time”.

Babangida who picked Ahmed Musa and Ajagun as the team’s best players expressed confidence that with the team’s performance, it can go all the way to the finals.
