The Federal Executive Council Wednesday approved N43,052,394,598 for completion of projects including roads and bridges in various parts of the country.

They  are realignment of the Kano State – Birnin Kudu-Bauchi State border road, N10,133,856,109, 100; reconstruction of a substandard breach at Pada road in Kogi State, N4,738,135,600;  construction of the Kaiyama Kishi Road in Oyo/Kwara states, N24,072,136,320, 340 and reconstruction of a substandard bridge along Ihugh-Damkori-Vandeikya-General Hospital Junction-Ogoja Road in Benue/Cross River States, 4,108,266,569.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo, said council approved construction of a N5,756,833,616 new corporate headquarters of the National Sugar Development Council in Abuja.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, said the council approved the repeal of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act 2004 to enhance the two bodies and advance the war against corruption.
